AUTHENTIC

We encourage honesty and celebrate those that live boldly by their truths.

We define and live by our own success and happiness, not that of our parents, peers or teachers.

New Growth

GROWTH

We strive to become our very best, navigating both self-compassion and resilience.

We foster a holistic environment to breed positive, prepared minds in the face of adversities.

Our Story
A Virtual Space for Kids to Grow

It all started with an observation that even though the grappling arts (Jiujitsu, Judo, Wrestling, MMA, etc) are sports practised by a wide range of age groups, platforms with child-friendly content were little to none. No space facilitated the learning of complex disciplines and their life-relevant teachings. It was not long before ideas materialised, content and apparel were made, and Grapple Up was ‘officially’ born.

Founded in 2024, our virtual hub is a dedicated space and community for little martial artists (ages 7-12) who are passionate about grappling and martial arts. We aim to complement your child’s development by providing content and tools they can practice off the mats and at home. We envision working WITH your child's instructor and academy for the same cause: your child's growth and wellbeing.

Between school, competing sports, and other after-school activities, we recognise that instructors have limited time with their students. Two 30-45 minute classes a week are just not enough time to teach children sport-specific techniques, healthy habits, or mindset hacks. Most parents also struggle to take their children to as many classes and activities as they'd like to attend. This is where we come in.

About: About
WE Believe...

That in order to become a strong and complete martial artist you must train five major pillars: your Skills, Body, Belly, Mind, and Rest.

No pillar is more important than the other. They work together and build on each other. For example, ensuring the right amount of sleep sets you up to think clearly about the choices you will make that day, including your food choices and your reaction times in training. On the mats, how you view yourself may very well be the deciding factor of a scramble before the match begins. Most only focus on the tip of the iceberg (i.e. Skills).

This concept is embedded in the daily routines of many high-performing athletes and entrepreneurs, yet we believe this is a lifestyle we should all aspire to, no matter your skill level or craft. We are convinced that an early exposure to this philosophy will instil champion-like foundations on the mats, at home, at school, and beyond.
